Commercial weed and vegetation control in Tauranga
Commercial weed control in Tauranga for car parks, kerbs, paved areas, fence lines, industrial yards and verges. We spray on a planned schedule so weeds never get a hold, keep application records for your health and safety file, and plan around people, waterways and wind. It's vegetation management that keeps a site looking maintained and stops weeds lifting paving and blocking drains.

Local know-how
Weed control on commercial sites: timing and care
Tauranga's warm, wet climate means weeds in car-park cracks and along fence lines can go from seedling to seed head in a few weeks in spring. A programme of regular rounds through spring and summer, with fewer in winter, stops them reseeding and keeps each round quick and light.

Wind is the main risk on exposed sites near the harbour and coast. Spray drifts onto gardens, cars and people in anything more than a light breeze, so we only treat in calm conditions and reschedule if the wind picks up. Rain is the other: most sprays need a dry period to work, so we watch the forecast and move visits rather than waste a round.
Some sites need extra care. Near schools, childcare centres and retirement villages we treat outside busy times and use signage. Near waterways and stormwater drains we use methods suited to the area. Where you'd rather reduce spraying, mechanical options like line-trimming fence lines and hand-weeding high-profile beds can take some of the load.

FAQs
Commercial weed control FAQs
Do you provide spray records?
Yes. You get an application record for every treatment.
What about spraying near schools and waterways?
We plan around them: treatment outside busy times, signage, and methods suited to areas near water.
How often do car parks need treating?
Most need a round every six to eight weeks from spring to autumn, and less often in winter. We'll set the programme at the site walk.
Are there non-chemical options?
Yes. Line-trimming, hand-weeding and mulching can reduce or replace spraying in sensitive areas. They cost more in time, so we use them where they matter most.
Do you spray residential lawns?
Yes, through our separate lawn weed control for homes service.
Can you clear weeds from gravel and fence lines?
Yes. Gravel car parks, kerbs, fence lines and paved areas are the main areas we treat, on a schedule that keeps regrowth down.
