Lawn care and maintenance in Tauranga
Lawn maintenance in Tauranga is more than mowing. Kikuyu races away in a humid summer, onehunga prickles turn up every spring, and sandy coastal soils dry out while heavier inland soils pack hard. We look after all of it: regular mowing, weed spraying, feeding, aeration and repairs, done by one local crew who knows your lawn.

FAQs
Lawn care FAQs
Can you do mowing and spraying on the same visit?
Yes. We often spray or feed on a regular mowing day. If a spray needs the lawn left uncut for a few days first, we plan the visits around that.
How often should a Tauranga lawn be fertilised?
Two to four times a year for most lawns: spring, early summer and autumn, with a light extra feed on sandy coastal sections, which lose nutrients faster.
What's the difference between lawn mowing and lawn care?
Mowing keeps the lawn tidy. Lawn care keeps it healthy: weed control, feeding, aeration and repairs on top of the mowing.
Do I need to be home?
No. Leave the gate unlocked and we'll text you when we're done.
How much does lawn mowing cost in Tauranga?
Lawn mowing starts from $45 per mow on a fortnightly plan. Size, slope and access change the price, and you get a fixed price before we start.
When should I spray for onehunga?
In winter, roughly June to August around Tauranga, before the plant sets its prickly seed heads in spring. Once you can feel the prickles, it's too late to stop them for that year.
